The glass components are characterized by high quality and are absolutely hygienic, which is why the solution has been successful. A further peculiarity is the high number of variants and therefore the possibility of customizing the entire range of products.
Kevin Kreyer is the CEO of the Kreyer Group companies, based in the small town of Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock. He managed to create a solid family business in East Westphalia.

Customizations are made in stainless steel inside the factory floor, according to the specifications of the technical office. Design engineers carry out their 3D design business using standard parts and elements. The special product variants then pass through the factory floor to ensure that almost all customer requests can be met.
The growing requests for customization and the increase in orders have increasingly engaged internal resources, as a result, the design technical area, in particular, has undergone an important strengthening of the team.

RuleDesigner, one integrated single solution
RuleDesigner is an Italian solution dedicated to the management and automation of PLM and BPM processes starting from CAD design. In the Dach area, the main reseller is the software house PBU CAD-Systeme GmbH.
RuleDesigner suite consists on a portfolio of natively integrated modular applications multiCAD that includes: PDM / PLM, product and process configurator, project and order management, CRM for sales and service management with spare parts portal.
The RuleDesigner platform is characterized by lean implementation processes, ease of maintenance and security in accessing company data. Thanks to its web architecture, RuleDesigner is accessible wherever a browser can be started.
The solution created guarantees protected access to company data and different visibility rights thanks to profiled access for different types of users. Furthermore, RuleDesigner can be easily integrated with a wide range of ERP systems, even the less common ones, including the one used by Glasprofi24.
ADVANTAGES FOR THE TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT
Time saving by a factor of 10
Through a rule-driven system, the design engineers insert in the RuleDesigner platform the inputs that translate the needs of individual customers and immediately obtain the corresponding CAD model. The parts list is automatically transferred to the ERP system.
The whole process has accelerated considerably. Niclas Schwuchow quantifies the time saved:
“In the product groups in which we use RuleDesigner, we have found that 80% of the design work is done by the configurator with a considerable time optimization”.
Niclas Schwuchow describe the future development of the project:
“Our goal is to fully automate the ordering process by directly entering the parameters on our website. RuleDesigner then processes the entered data, interrogates the ERP system, creates the 3D model and generates the complete PDF with the quotation. Creating a CAD model took from 30 to 45 minutes, today with RuleDesigner 5 minutes are enough, including the BOM and the accompanying documentation.”

The scalability of the product represents an ambitious objective and RuleDesigner allows to achieve it. The system is in fact highly scalable and adaptable thanks to powerful configuration tools, functional width and a modular structure. Once implemented, there are no limits to the application and extension possibilities.
